Village Tour to Shreeban Nature Camp Resort

Nepal is a country of over 3900 villages and each one has its own charm and cultural values. Shreeban Nature Camp is finest and newest destination for rural tourism. One can enjoy 180 degree view of Himalayan peaks on clear weather. Shreeban Nature Camp Resort lies on the lap of the Siddha Baba hill at an altitude of 1350m. It is probably the best place in Nepal for panoramic views of the Himalaya. Shreeban Nature Camp at an altitude of 1350m meters above the sea level in Patle, Nalang of Dhading district is situated 90 kilometers north-west from Kathmandu and a mere 3 hours drive. The camp is centrally located from all the major destinations in Nepal like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Gorkha and Chitwan and takes 3 hours to reach here from all these places. Established in 2001 Shreeban Nature Camp has become recognized among the trekkers, writers, photographers, nature lovers, cave explorers, rock climbers, mountain bikers and holiday makers. It introduced Rock Climbing and Hang-gliding for the first time in Nepal - keeping in view the growing demands in the adventure field globally. The activities which can be accomplished at Shreeban Nature Camp are ethnic village visit, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, meditation, rock climbing, hang gliding and star gazing.  Nicely located with perfect view on Annapurna, Manaslu and Ganesh himal. Also this tour is offering a good bird watch and plenty of different types of butterflies. Several day walks from there in an unspoiled environment are possible. Meeting nice and friendly people from a mixture of casts, see how they life and work on the fields.

Shreeban Nature Camp Resort offers two types of accommodation;

Main resort building, made out of rocks and indigenous materials, which blends perfectly to the surrounding area of Patle village. All double rooms are well furnished and uniquely designed furniture is set with all modern amenities. Bathrooms and showers are in separate unit. Solar power system is induces for hot shower. Dinning hall is very pleasantly furnished.
Tented camp, large spacious safari type two men tents are permanently pitched in our spacious green terrace garden. All the five double - bedded tents have thatched shades to blend to the surroundings. The tents have double beds with table and chairs to make it comfortable for the entire adventurous guest. Bathrooms and showers running hot and cold water are in separate unit. Dinning hall and bar are common to the resort and camp.

 Activities:

Nature Trek; An hour’s walk from the camp gets you to the top of the hill at 1550m and a 360 degree view can be appreciated. Trek to Siddheswar hill top shrine and surrounding dense forest hillside. Witness the sun kissed Himalayan range on the northern distance horizon.
Bird Watching; The area id rich for avifauna, home to some rare birds-both resident and migratory which comes from different continents and is the home of different birds of prey and Spiny Babblers.
Ethnic Village Tour; It may be the best place for cultural tours where many ethnic groups live together in harmony. There are 4 - 5 different ethnic communities in the village of Nalang. They are mainly Newar, Brahmin, Magar, Kami (black smith) and Damai (tailor). All these communities live separately occupying their own status and are mainly farmers. Visit to these entire villages will give you the ideas of their identity. We visit their house and your guide will explain about their culture and rituals, which are very interesting.
Rock Climbing (seasonal); For those who seek adventure: quest for rock climbing in Shreeban is unique. The vertical rock south west of resort/camp is all equipped for adventure seekers. Rocks are fitted with piton and ropes. Climbing equipments are available at Shreeban.
Possible trekking routes; Various treks are organized from Shreeban Rock Climbing Nature Camp on request, via: trek to Gorkha Palace, trek to Royal Chitwan National Park following the old salt trade route to India, trek to Ganga - Jamuna water fall following the old trade route to Tibet, around Dhading, Nuwakot District.

Itinerary in details
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu 1340m,
You'll be met at the airport by our representative from the company, so look out for a office sign/logo with your name when you leave the airport. They will bring you back to the Hotel. Welcome drinks will provide by Hotel and short briefing about your treks and refreshment. Stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley,

A free day to explore in the Kathmandu Valley. Our tour guide introduces as following Options: Climb the many steps to Swayambhunath (the monkey temple), with its commanding views of Kathmandu (1420m), its whitewashed Stupas and its unique synthesis of Buddhism and Hinduism. The striking Buddha eyes of Boudhanath Stupa watch over a lively and colorful Tibetan community and attract pilgrims from all over the Himalayan Buddhist realm. In the midst of traditional Gompas, and hung with long strings of multi-colored prayer flags, Boudhanath attracts Sherpas, Tibetans and tourists alike for daily circumambulations (Koras) of the Stupa. Durbar Square, one of the old capitals of the Kathmandu valley, is a synthesis of Hindu and Buddhist temples, stupas and statues, and is often the site of festivals, marriages and other ceremonies. Hindu Pashupatinath and its sacred temple complex on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here, monkeys run up and down the steps of the burning ghats, and trident-bearing saddhus draped in burnt-orange and saffron sit serenely meditating - when they’re not posing for photos-for-rupees. Stay overnight in Hotel.

Day 3: Countryside drive through Prithivi high way which is 90 km north west of Kathmandu and is only 3 hours drive from major cities of Nepal like Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan by private car. Bus ride terminates at the village Bungche where we start walking up hill passing through terrace fields and country home side. Takes approximately 2-3 hours easy walk to Shreeban guest house. Stay overnight at Lodge/tented camp.

Day 4: Morning Nature trek: to Siddheswar hill top shrine and surrounding dense forest hillside. Witness the sun kissed Himalayan range on the northern distance horizon. Rich area for avis fauna, enter some rare birds in your checklist - both resident and migratory which arrive from Siberia in the gurgling streams and lakes of Nepal some chooses the tree tops, some in the terrestrial bank of river and rivulet. Stay overnight at Lodge/tented camp.

Day 5: Ethnic Rural Village Tour, there are 4 - 5 different ethnic communities in the village of Nalang. They are mainly Newar, Brahmin, Magar, Kami (black smith) and Damai (tailor). Day 6: Walk about 10km downhill through the terraced fields with viewing majestic Himalayan range and beautiful rural villages until reaching Baireni. Then drive back to Kathmandu by private car and transfer to Hotel, refreshment.

Day 7: Full day Sightseeing in Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square with Tour Guide by private car and transfer to Hotel.

Day 8: Final departure to international airport as per your flight schedule.

Tipping is expected but it is not mandatory and can be treated end of the trip if satisfied.

P.S. In case of Emergency Evacuation during the trip, Helicopter Rescue will be arranged by Mystique Nepal Himalayan Trekking & Expedition (P) Ltd within 1-2 hours in first call. The cost of the rescue must be paid by the clients themselves or insurance company.

TREKKING/TOUR CANCELLATION PROCEDURES:

There will be a cancellation fee of 30% for any cancellation unforeseen problems shown one month prior to Trekking/Tour departure date, a cancellation fee of 50% two weeks prior to Trekking/Tour departure date and no refund thereafter. No refund for no shows & delay arrivals whatsoever reason.
